The house sits at the edge of the village of Cazals on the border of the Dordogne and Lot regions of France.
Forming part of a large property hidden away from the outside world behind a large wall. The house sits on the edge of beautifully landscaped gardens with private pool, summer kitchen and pétanque pitch all leading down to the private lake, setting the backdrop for an amazing holiday home.
The property itself is a spacious and light, detached house that forms one side of an enclosed gravel courtyard. You will have exclusive use of this gîte and its gardens in front. The thick stone walls offer a cool escape from the heat of the sun, whilst inside, the gîte is very spacious and light. With a generous sized kitchen, living/dining space with open tread staircase leading to 2 large double bedrooms (approx 15m²/ 49 sq ft each). The property boasts 2 bathrooms (1x shower, 1x bath) this property easily sleeps 4 in 2 real bedrooms. The light and airy interior overlook the salt water pool and gardens.
When hunger calls, preparing your food has never been easier with a fully equipped kitchen inside the gîte or on the barbeque in the summer kitchen outside. In the evenings when the sun isn't quite as powerful, brush up on your pétanque skills on the private pétanque pitch, or join in with the locals on the village square.
If you still feel like keeping in touch with the outside world then a wi-fi connection is available.
A television with DVD/Bluray player and a smart hub where you can log in your Netflix, Disney, etc .. is also available.
A selection of books and DVD are kept inside the gîte.
We live in a seperate house in the property, giving you full privacy, but also more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
