By rail

Since July 2017 there is a high speed rail link from Paris to Bordeaux. You will be able to take a train from London which will take you to Bordeaux via Paris. Tickets cost from £110 return.

From Bordeaux you can either hire a car and drive the last 2 1/2 hours or take another train to Bergerac (all year round - 1 hour away) or Sarlat (during the summer months - 30 minutes away).

The nearest train stations are: Sarlat, Gourdon or Cahors.
